Monte Casino, Tsogo Sun's R1,4 billion gaming, retail and leisure complex,
is Gauteng's premier Tuscan themed retail entertainment destination.
Designed to replicate an ancient Tuscan hill-top village, Monte Casino is situated at Fourways,
North of Johannesburg.

since it opened in November 2000. Attracting about eight million visitors a year,

Casino
Walking into the Leisure Area, visitors reach the Casino along winding cobblestone streets,
flanked by fountains, village shops and cafés.
Entry to the 8 500m² Gaming Area is via three entrances, with a 150-metre stream dividing
the gaming area from the village and the variety of family entertainments in the rest of the complex.
Each entrance has security controls - ensuring that no persons under the age of 18
have access to the adult casino playground.
Monte casino's gaming is open 24 hours a day, with nearly half of the entertainment
complex's highly trained staff assigned to the casino facilities.

Monte casino offers no less than 1 700 gaming machines and 70 gaming tables.
Offering many denominations of Slot machines from as low as 5c and 10c, 25c, 50c,
R1, R2 , R5, R10 , R20, R50 and the highest denomination is R100.

the newly opened area on the main casino floor.

The newly opened Studio Theatre has seating for 150 people.

Montecasino welcomes a new tenant - The Atlas Balloon Company -
who owns and operates the new, much talked about, ABSA balloon...
the largest helium balloon and largest billboard on the continent !
Rides in the Absa balloon will last approximately 15 minutes - 5 minutes ascent, 5 minutes viewing ,
time5 minutes descent.
The giant red balloon is ten storeys high and can carry up to 30 passengers.
