Roulette Tips and Strategies
The Aim of the Game :
The objective of Roulette is placing bets on winning numbers or selections of numbers.
At least there are no complicated strategies to learn !
The numbers each have the same chance of coming up after each spin, and the result of one spin has no
influence on the outcome of the next spin. You really just have to rely on Good Luck !!!
How to Place Bets :
Place your Chips on the table according to what number, combination of numbers,
or color you hope the ball will land on.
You need to understand what the different bets are to become a skillful player.
The Dealer spins the roulette wheel, then announces "No More Bets',
which means betting is closed for the remainder of the spin.
Any bets placed after the announcement are disqualified.
When the ball drops onto the winning number, the Dealer announces the number and places a 'Dolly' on the number.
All losing bets are cleared from the table, and all winning bets get paid out by the Dealer.
Inside Bets
Straight Up Bet - Bet on any Single Number - Pays 35 to 1
Split Bet - Bet on any two adjacent numbers - Pays 17 to 1
Street Bet - Bet on all three numbers in a row - Pays 11 to 1
Corner Bet - Bet on four adjacent numbers - Pays 8 to 1
Six Line Bet - Bet on two adjacent rows of numbers - Pays 5 to 1
Outside Bets
Dozen - Bet on 12 consecutive numbers - Pays 2 to 1
Columns - Bet on all 12 numbers in one column - Pays 2 to 1
Red or Black - Bet on either all Red or all Black numbers - Even Money
Odd or Even - Bet on either all Odd or all Even numbers - - Even Money 1 to 18 or 19 to 36
-a Bet on 18 consecutive numbers - Even Money 0, 1, 2, 3 - pays 8 to 1
When the Zero Wins - All dozens and column bets lose.
Even Bets lose half the bets placed.
Any other bet not on zero or combinations of zero lose.
The Wheel
There is a pattern to most of the numbers on a Roulette Wheel.
The 37 and 39 phenomenon :
Beginning at the number 10, every consecutive pair of red numbers adds up to 37.
Every consecutive pair of black numbers adds up to 39.
